Today a trip to Chew Valley Country Farm was on the menu, this lovely little farm is situated just outside of South Bristol in the little village of Chew Magna, it is not on any main roads, instead it is set in some lovely rolling fields as such it is a very calm and quite place to visit the only noises you will here are those of the animals themselves and some wildlife.
It has a lovely Cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating area's situated beside a quaint farm shop, and a well equipped secure children's play area. (I can highly recommend the home made Victoria sponge from the cafe!) The farm itself is very well kept and the animals are all very friendly. Upon arrival at the farm you are able to purchase bags of chick and duck feed and cups of goat feed for 50p each, this is great if your little ones like to get up close to the animals.
